I took these shots in two different locations. One of them was the beachside hotel in Salalah which I used to visit at weekends. I used a Nikkor 70-300mm DX lens (105-450mm, 35mm equivalent) and my SB-5000 external flash. The others were taken at a lagoon a couple of kilometres away where flamingos, herons, curlews and other birds liked to gather.
