The photographs in this collection were inspired by the kitchen still lifes of Jan Groover. All the pictures were taken using available light. I took them during the winter months of 2012 – 13 and in November and December of 2013 mostly between 7:30 and 9:00 in the morning. This was because at that time of year and day, the light was coming through the window at exactly the right angle. The camera used for this project was a Panasonic Lumix G3. The lenses were the Lumix G 20mm and the Lumix G X Vario 35 – 100 f2.8.
