This was my first serious foray into macro and close-up photography. For these pictures, I used a Nikkor DX 40mm Micro lens (full-frame 60mm equivalent) and for most of the pictures a ring flash. The title of this collection is a little misleading. I have also included vegetables and a salad dressing. As I was mixing it, I thought it might be an interesting subject for a macro shot.
